One-Week Independent Walking Package
La Posada del
Torcal is located in between 2 very beautiful Natural Parks. The
El Torcal Park and the Montes de Malaga Park. The Parks are
completely different, one being pine forest , with spectacular high
passes and low valley’s. The other an extraordinary combination of
limestone rock formations set in rolling valley’s . Each Park is
full of an incredible collection of flora and fauna, and is home to
birds of prey, mountain goats, boar and many other small wild life
and birds.
The surrounding
areas vary from open rolling hills to spectacular mountain roads,
we have put together a variety of walks for the independent walker
to make the best of our beautiful area. Walks vary from easy to
difficult ! You choose !!
Hotel Owner Karen,
a keen walker , will accompany you on one day along her own
particular favourite walk. Starting at the high point of the Montes
de Malaga Natural Park, through pine forest tracks , seeing some
spectacular views. You will lunch with her at a Venta at the edge of
the Park before continuing the walk, which will finish at a Spanish
Finca, where you will have tea with the owner and a well earned swim
!
