Eating at La Posada del Torcal is a culinary experience to
be remembered. Under the guidance of our Head Chef, Paul
Tugwell, guests will have the opportunity to taste some of
Spain's finest dishes in our restaurant. With its unique
location in the centre of Andalucía's agricultural region,
fresh products such as olives, almonds and figs (grown
on the hotel's own farm) and organic vegetables such as red
peppers, artichokes and asparagus are readily available.
Dishes such as local goat's cheese with foie-gras and
caramelized apple or seared fresh tuna with a tomato and
basil gazpacho sorbet will please the most discerning
palate. Paul bases his cuisine on the most excellent
home-made stocks and sauces, the freshest best ingredients
and combines many renowned Spanish dishes with a
"sophisticated, International twist!"
We believe that the “ dining experience “ is a crucial part
of any holiday and with this in mind, we have created
several areas throughout the hotel where you can experience
superb food in amazing locations.
At our restaurant la Galeria, we offer winter
dining in our intimate interior restaurant. A fusion of
modern art , traditional wood and terracotta fixtures, all
bathed in candlelight invoking a warm and romantic
atmosphere.
Each evening our chef's create a unique 3
course, two choice menu for our guests which always
offers a choice of a fish or meat main course, we use the
freshest local ingredients. Mr Tugwell offer's his own
special interpretation of classical Spanish dishes alongside
modern Mediterranean cuisine.
We are always happy to cater for special dietary
needs and vegetarians with prior notification.
