Casa La Moneda is a gorgeous little villa that has to be
the ultimate honeymoon or romantic hideaway.
Nestling in the foothills of the El Torcal Natural Park in Andalucia,
this restored goat herders cottage has wonderful views and it totally private.
The conversion has been sympathetic and authentic, chunky wooden beams and terracotta
floors and reclaimed iron fixtures and fittings throughout the cottage are reminiscent
of a bye gone age.
Modern comforts are very much in evidence however, there is a fitted kitchen
and smart shower room. A wood burning stove for a real cosy warmth in the early
spring and autumn. The cottage has 2 spacious bedrooms, one is a twin and the
other a double.
Outside there is a small swimming pool 4m x 3m, sun terrace and a large covered
terrace with barbeque and dining area.
For those in search of a really relaxing and romantic getaway or peaceful
break, this is the place without a doubt. The nearest village is Villanueva
de la Concepcion – approx 5 klm drive. |
